Frank Briceno
REGIONAL DIRECTOR – LATIN AMERICA (CARACAS)
Frank was appointed regional Director in March 2008 having been Country Manager of ArmorGroup Venezuela since 2002. Previously he had 30 years of distinguished service in the Venezuelan armed forces, retiring as a Brigade General having held important positions in the Guardia National and the Defense Ministry. He has a broad knowledge of public safety and security policies, as well as a wide range of high-level contacts with the Venezuelan and regional law enforcement agencies. Frank has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
Paul Ciszewski
REGIONAL DIRECTOR - EURASIA (MOSCOW)
Paul rejoined ArmorGroup in 2006 having previously been Security Manager at Baker Petrolite, where he was responsible for security at some 120 chemical facilities worldwide. Prior to that, Paul provided detailed review and comment on port security plans for a US Department of Homeland Security project spearheaded by the Coast Guard. For nine years before that Paul worked for Exxon, ArmorGroup and Fluor in Russia, Kazakhstan and on Sakhalin Island, providing security management for the largest oil and gas projects in the region. Paul left the US Army in 1994 after 24 years of service in security, including attaché assignments in Greece and Ukraine.
Andrew MacKinnon
REGIONAL DIRECTOR - AFRICA (LONDON)
Andrew assumed responsibility for the performance of ArmorGroup operations in Africa in September 2005, having joined ArmorGroup in 2004. Andrew served in the British Army for 12 years, serving in Saudi Arabia, Zimbabwe, Germany, Canada and New Zealand in operational and training roles. On leaving the forces Andrew spent a 3 year period as an independent consultant within the defence and security sectors before joining ArmorGroup. Initially Andrew was employed as the London based Operations Manager for ArmorGroup’s Afghanistan business where he successfully managed the growth of the FCO and HMRC projects.
Andrew Martin
GROUP DIRECTOR OF MARKETING (LONDON)
Andrew joined ArmorGroup in January 2007 from Prismo, Jarvis plc’s roads division, for which as Managing Director he led a successful recovery programme and coordinated its sale to Ennis Paint Inc. While at Jarvis he also managed and improved the performance of a number of different divisions. Andrew was the first full time professional General Manager to New Zealand’s ‘All Blacks’ rugby team holding the position from 2000 to 2002. Previously Andrew served with the New Zealand Defence Force with appointments including: Commander of the NZDF’s contingent in Bosnia; Commanding Officer of the NZSAS; Inspector General of the NZ Army; and Chief of Operations for UN forces in East Timor and Kuwait.
David McDonnell
DIRECTOR OF MINE ACTION (LONDON)
David joined ArmorGroup in 1996, as the Project Manager of a training and clearance contract for the World Bank in Bosnia, and became Director of the Group’s Mine Actions activities in 1997. He has since developed our Mine Action capability worldwide. David previously served with the UN Department of Humanitarian Affairs as the Quality Assurance officer with the Mine Action Centre in Zagreb, before which he served 22 years in the British Army’s Corps of Royal Engineers in Germany, Northern Ireland, Cyprus and Bosnia Herzegovina, specialising in Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and landmines.
Rich Weaver
REGIONAL DIRECTOR, INTERNATIONAL TRAINING
Rich Weaver joined ArmorGroup in 2001, when his company International Training, Inc (ITI) was acquired by Armor Holdings. Rich is responsible for ArmorGroup’s training service worldwide. Rich served as a senior officer in US Airforce Intelligence and during his career commanded over 200 special agents in 26 countries worldwide. He has 28 years practical experience conducting investigative operations, including seven years in high threat environments. He specialises in investigations, counterintelligence support, security policy and special access programmes. He holds a BA and MS from Washington universities and graduated in forensic medicine from the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology.
