Appeal for Mine Action personnel

Currently the Mine Action industry is enjoying unprecedented levels of work globally. ArmorGroup Mine Action is presently active in a number of different countries, including Cyprus, Nepal and Sudan and is looking to expand further. We need to keep expanding our personnel database in order to meet the demand for our projects so we would very much appreciate it if you would:

  • forward this weblink to your associates and friends in the Mine Action industry and encourage them to contact us; or
  • if it’s easier for you, send us their contacts and we will contact them directly.

Employment

ArmorGroup encourages the submission of your personal experience information, resume and details if you are seeking employment in the landmine and UXO remediation / clearance field. Please note that we can only consider applications from people who are appropriately qualified and have relevant previous experience. Please download the standard format CV and after completing it please e-mail us. The information you should include is:

  • As much relevant information as possible (refer to the information provided above whilst writing your CV). Please do not be concerned about being long winded; the more information we have on your experience the better we can evaluate your application.
  • If you have experience managing integrated operations, please detail these clearly including what tools were used and the type of machine if relevant.
  • All relevant qualifications including your IMAS EOD Level.
  • The number of teams and personnel you have managed in the past.
  • Any training you have presented including any training programmes you have written yourself.
  • Equipment you have used e.g. types of metal detectors.
  • The locations you have worked in i.e. not just Sudan but the town or region e.g. Juba, Sudan.
  • Whether you have used or submitted information to IMSMA.
  • Whether you are familiar with IMAS.

Voluntary submission of details enables ArmorGroup to consider applicants against all opportunities arising rather than for any single vacancy. ArmorGroup will electronically respond to all such enquiries and will at its discretion retain all data voluntarily submitted on an electronically sorted database. Such data shall be retained for ArmorGroup use only.
