ArmorGroup International Training (AGIT) has had an established presence and excellent reputation in the UK market for many years, primarily at its Pershore facility. Its team of trainers, many of them former special forces operators, provides training to thousands of security professionals, UK Government employees and corporate executives and their families worldwide. It does this by designing and delivering in-depth, tailored training programmes to recognise and avoid or mitigate potential threats, allowing trainees to operate securely and confidently wherever they are operating. AGIT’s Pershore training facility is located on a former Ministry of Defence airbase and as such provides a 200-acre secure and private facility which has the capability to conduct realistic and tailored training for commercial and government clients. The facility, which is two hours northwest of London and 45 minutes south of Birmingham, offers the following benefits to clients:

• 2.5 mile driving track which provides realistic and challenging driving conditions and configurations, to give experience of: high speed straights; open road turns; and street-width turning.
• Realistic hostile environment street scene and vehicle crash area.
• Wide range of training vehicles, including: unmodified Vauxhall Omegas, with ABS-disabling function; up-armoured Ford F350s; and crash vehicles for realistic defensive driving training.
• Complex of training classrooms with a large covered area for indoor practical training.
• Administrative and instructional support buildings

AGIT also has access to a nearby off-road training facility which simulates adverse 4-wheel driving conditions of all types to prepare students for operations in poor infrastructure environments. The local area and the nearby city of Evesham are highly suitable for realistic street exercises, surveillance detection and commentary driving.
